Eee, its the letter meme

munninhuginn suggested the letter "E", so here are ten things I like. I had difficulty thinking of all ten.

1. Electricity: I've always been interested in the applications of electricity, from lighting through to radio and computers. When I first became interested computers were few and far between. Now I earn my living by solving electrical and electronic problems.
2. Eastercon: the annual UK science fiction convention. This year it is orbital_2008
3. Eggs: cooked in various forms, often for breakfast.
4. e-commerce: do you know how much effort I save by buying stuff on the Internet instead of leaving the house?
5. Ethanol: at least, as it appears in certain wines and beers.
6. Examples: seriously, when I need to understand something new, which happens often enough when working in any technological field, the first thing I look for is an example or two to give me the key to understand the (sometimes abstruse) rest of the information.
7. Eccentricity: nuff said.
8. Eclipse: we travelled a long way to see the eclipse of the sun a few years back.
9. Efficiency: I have a passion when designing power supplies to make them as efficient as possible - to waste the minimum amount of electricity.
10. Electro-luminescence: a really cool way to turn electricity into light.

Comment and I'll suggest a letter of the alphabet (and I promise to stick to the standard 26-letter roman one). You then list, with whatever illustration or amplification seems fit, 10 things you love that begin with that letter.

I don't want a letter thanks - I've done this multiple times in the last week or so, I'm all lettered out :-)

But I wanted to say how much I agree with (3) I love eggs.

5 & 7 are good too :-)

Try "S"? Does that work for you or would you prefer another suggestion?
