Feline surgery

In addition to the squamous cell cancer on one ear, the other appeared to have the start of something similar, so both of her ears are seriously abbreviated. She didn't seem to be off her feed in any way when we got her home;-) She even ate her food with the ground-up antibiotic in it.
She is supposed to keep on a light shade collar so that she doesn't scratch her ears. She was NOT HAPPY in the collar, and kept trying to back away from it in fear, because any time she tried moving forwards it caught on something and dug into her neck. So far she has not scratched at her ears with the collar removed, so with luck we won't need to subject her to that.
