So that was Christmas

On a forum she frequents, Hibernia replied to a thread asking what folks were most looking forward to at Christmas. Her reply was "Dinner with my sister". Quite right - we had a good day and ate ourselves to a standstill. As well as their children, who we get on with very well, they invited Mohammed from (their) work, because his wife and children are visiting her parents in Egypt over Christmas.

It was good to see him again, because we hadn't crossed each others paths for a while. He hadn't experienced a Christmas gathering of this type before, which probably shouldn't have been surprising. Yes, he is another engineer who likes reading science fiction. Of course ;)


It was altogether a good day, and the diet starts tomorrow another day.
