Windows font tip
Aug. 2nd, 2007 10:37 amIf you double click on a font that is not installed - maybe it is on a cd or a directory of spare typefaces - it opens in a font viewer window. Then windows applications that you open after you open the font viewer can use that font as long as it remains open in the viewer. Since installing a large number of fonts can slow things down, this is a good way to use fonts that you will only want rarely.
