rustica at the weekend, the first time we had seen her cottage somewhere in Oxfordshire. We couldn't find a pub that was both salubrious and open, but there was beer and wine to drink, food to eat, and some very funny DVDs (in Russian, subtitled) to watch, back at the cottage.
She even helped me to revise a bit of maths I have not used in anger for a long while.
A fine way to spend the main part of the weekend!
